3 Month Contract With A Local Authority


Job Purpose:
To provide efficient and high-quality administrative and operational support to the Fostering Connected Person and Special Guardianship Assessment Service. The role focuses on ensuring statutory processes are tracked and maintained, supporting assessment preparation, and contributing to the smooth running of the service.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and track statutory checks to ensure compliance with required timelines and standards
  • Support the preparation and organisation of assessment documentation
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and data systems
  • Develop and produce information packs for foster and kinship carers
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including document management and correspondence
  • Coordinate, arrange, and minute meetings as required
  • Attend meetings and contribute effectively where necessary
  • Undertake home visits when required as part of service support
  • Assist in ensuring effective communication across the team and with external stakeholders


Requirements:

  • Experience in a social care or social work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail
  • Confidence in attending meetings and interacting with professionals and service users
  • Willingness to undertake training and professional development relevant to the role
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in coordinating and minuting meetings is desirable

  • Working Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Payment: Bi-weekly

  • Enhanced DBS is Required
