Case Manager – Tenancy and Estates
Location: Taunton
Rate: £25.55 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 6 Months
Hours: Full Time
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 Days On Site, 2 Days Home/Office Based
Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Case Manager – Tenancy and Estates to oversee a housing patch of approximately 550–700 properties. This role is crucial in providing proactive tenancy and estate management services. As the primary contact for residents, you will address various tenancy, estate, and neighborhood issues. This community-focused position involves regular home visits, estate inspections, and collaboration with partners to support residents and enhance neighborhoods.
Responsibilities
- Manage a designated housing patch of 550–700 properties.
- Address tenancy and estate-related inquiries and casework.
- Conduct home visits, tenancy visits, and estate inspections.
- Support vulnerable tenants and refer them to appropriate support agencies.
- Investigate and resolve tenancy breaches, neighborhood concerns, and low-level anti-social behavior issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to sustain tenancies and improve resident outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and update housing management systems.
- Deliver high standards of customer service and tenancy management.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in Housing Management, Tenancy Management, Estate Management, or a similar housing role.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload and resolve tenancy-related issues.
- Experience in supporting vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Good working knowledge of housing services and tenancy management practices.
Desirable
- Experience with Local Authorities or Housing Associations.
- Familiarity with safeguarding referrals and tenancy sustainment.
- Knowledge of anti-social behavior and neighborhood management.
