Job Purpose

Key Duties/Accountabilities

• Clean, decontaminate, and refurbish community healthcare equipment for reuse.
  
• Process equipment such as mobility aids, beds, hoists, and other assistive devices.
  
• Ensure all equipment is handled in accordance with infection control procedures and standards.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
  
• Segregate and manage recyclable materials and clinical waste appropriately.
  
• Support sustainability and environmental objectives through effective recycling practices.
  
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  
• Inspect equipment and identify any damage or maintenance requirements.
  
• Ensure accurate handling and storage of equipment and materials.
  
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support efficient warehouse operations.
  

Essential Experience Required

• Previous experience in a cleaning, warehouse, industrial, facilities, healthcare, or environmental services environment.
  
• Experience working to health and safety procedures and standards.
  
• Experience maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  
• Ability to follow processes, instructions, and infection control procedures.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Reliable, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards.
  

Essential Qualifications Required

• Good standard of general education.
  
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to cleaning and warehouse environments.
  
• Relevant cleaning, facilities, warehouse, or healthcare qualification desirable.
  
• Manual handling experience desirable.
  

Additional Information to Note

• Working hours: 36 hours per week.
  
• Working pattern: 08:30 - 16:30.
  
• Location: Enfield Civic Centre. 
  
• We work on bi weekly payment schedule.
