The Placement Service is an integral part of the Safeguarding and Family Support division within Children's Services. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of children by managing and coordinating placement services effectively. The position plays a vital role in supporting families and safeguarding children, contributing significantly to the overall mission of Children's Services.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage placement services within the Safeguarding and Family Support division.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children through effective placement strategies.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to support families and safeguard children.
- Monitor and evaluate placement processes to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to team members within the Placement Service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within Children's Services.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and family support practices.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
