Customer Service Advisor Care & Wellbeing Hub (Adults)
Summary
- The Customer Service Advisor will serve as the initial point of contact for inquiries directed to Lincolnshire County Council’s Adult Care Teams. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality information, advice, and support to residents, carers, and professionals, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound telephone and email inquiries from the public, carers, and professionals regarding Adult Care, the Lincolnshire Carer Service, and the Wellbeing Service.
- Utilise a strength-based and person-centered approach to understand customer needs and provide accurate information and advice.
- Manage complex, sensitive, and sometimes emotional conversations with professionalism, empathy, and resilience.
- Apply call-control techniques to ensure inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.
Essential Experience
- Experience working in a busy Customer Service Centre or customer-facing environment.
- Experience handling high-volume contact via telephone and email.
- Experience in social care, health, or wellbeing settings (preferred but not essential).
Essential Qualifications
- Good standard of general education (GCSE level or equivalent).
- Excellent IT skills, including fast and accurate typing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 37 hours per week
- Shift patterns will vary between 8-6, but during training, shifts will be 9-5.
- This is an office-based assignment.
- Location: 36 Orchard Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN1 1XX, United Kingdom
- Interviews will be held at Lancaster House, Lincoln, lasting 45 minutes in total.
- Bi-weekly payment schedule.
