3 Month Contract With A local Authority

We are seeking two skilled and reliable Ground Workers with hands-on experience in general repairs and maintenance. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a range of repair works across estates and public areas, ensuring high-quality standards and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out concrete repairs, including PCC paving slabs, bollards, and associated structures
  
• Perform brickwork repairs, including rebuilding walls, pointing, and rendering
  
• Undertake tarmac repairs on walkways and estate roads, including pothole repairs
  
• Inspect works and identify required repairs or maintenance
  
• Complete detailed reports following site visits and completed works
  
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver projects efficiently
  
• Operate and update job records using a PDA system
  
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in groundworks, particularly in:
  
  • Concrete repair works
    
  • Brickwork and masonry
    
  • Tarmac and surfacing repairs
    
• Ability to produce clear and accurate written reports
  
• Comfortable using handheld devices / PDA systems
  
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
  
• Good understanding of site safety practices
  

• 36 Hours Per Week
