Summary
This temporary 3-month contract role within the Initial Assessment Team is crucial for preventing homelessness and supporting individuals at risk of losing their accommodation. The position emphasises early intervention, expert housing advice, and collaboration with partners to sustain tenancies or secure alternative housing, aligning with the Homelessness Reduction Act and Enfield’s Early Help strategy.
Responsibilities
- Homelessness Prevention & Assessment
- Conduct initial homelessness assessments in compliance with statutory duties.
- Identify opportunities for early intervention to prevent or delay homelessness.
- Provide expert housing advice tailored to individual circumstances.

- Manage a caseload focused on the prevention and relief of homelessness.
- Develop and implement customized housing solutions.
- Ensure all actions comply with the Homelessness Reduction Act and local policies.
