Job description
3-6 months contract with a local authority
Job Purpose
- The Prevention, Data & Outcomes Lead is responsible for driving improvement across key Housing Advice & Enabling functions, including waiting list management, rough sleeping services, homelessness prevention, and strategy and enabling. The post holder will support service transformation, strengthen operational delivery, improve performance, and ensure data-driven decision making.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Lead delivery improvement activity across all Housing Advice & Enabling teams.
- Review current processes and identify areas for increased efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement improvement plans aligned with service priorities.
- Drive best practice in prevention, assessment, and case management approaches.
Essential Experience Required
- Proven line management experience, including supporting staff, managing performance, and leading teams.
- Experience working within housing, homelessness, rough sleeping, or related public-sector services.
- Background in service improvement, operational delivery, or change management.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Management or leadership qualification (desirable).
- Evidence of continuous professional development in housing, homelessness, or service improvement.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 37 hours per week
- Role requires DBS.
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (40% Office attendance 1-4 weeks)
- Bi-weekly payment schedule
