Summary:

Join the Coastal North Social Care Team at the Waterloo Centre in Leiston as a Child in Need Social Worker. This role is crucial in providing support and assessments for children in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be instrumental in conducting social work assessments, facilitating Child in Need meetings, and engaging in child protection efforts. This position requires a commitment of three days in the office per week for a six-month period.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive social work assessments for children in need.
Facilitate and manage Child in Need meetings.
Prepare and write Section 7 reports.
Engage in child protection work to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience in social work, particularly with children in need.
Strong ability to conduct assessments and manage meetings.
Excellent report writing skills, specifically for Section 7 reports.
Experience in child protection work is essential.
