Job Purpose
To provide high-quality assessment and
safeguarding interventions within Adult Social Care, ensuring statutory duties
are met and individuals are supported to live safe, independent lives. The role
requires a qualified social worker with 2+ years post-qualification experience,
operating within the Adult, Housing and Health > Adult Social Care > MTFS
Programme structure.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- - Undertake comprehensive assessments under
the Care Act 2014, focusing on needs, risks, and safeguarding concerns.
- - Manage a varied caseload, delivering
person-centred support planning and risk management.
- - Lead safeguarding enquiries under Section
42, coordinating multi-agency responses.
- - Work collaboratively with internal teams,
health partners, and external agencies to deliver positive outcomes.
- - Maintain accurate, timely case records in
line with professional standards and local authority policies.
- - Contribute to MTFS Programme objectives
through improved practice, resource planning, and service efficiency.
- - Participate in supervision, reflective
practice, and continuous professional development.
Essential Experience Required
- - Minimum 2 years post-qualification
experience as a Social Worker.
- - Demonstrable experience in adult
assessment, safeguarding, and case management.
- - Experience working within statutory
social care settings.
Essential Qualifications Required
- - Social Work degree or equivalent (e.g.,
BA Social Work, MA Social Work, DipSW).
- - Current Social Work England registration.
