Duration: 8 Months Contract ending 07/2026. 6hrs pw.
Join our dynamic educational team as a Specialist Dance Tutor, where you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing the dance skills of our students. This position is integral to our mission of providing high-quality dance education, fostering creativity, and promoting physical fitness. As a Specialist Dance Tutor, you will have the opportunity to inspire students, enhance their artistic expression, and contribute to their overall growth and development in dance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging dance curricula tailored to students' skill levels and interests.
- Conduct dance classes, workshops, and rehearsals, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to integrate dance into the broader educational program.
- Organize and participate in performances, showcases, and other events to highlight students' achievements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in dance education to enhance teaching methods continually.
- Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages students to explore and express their creativity.
Requirements

- Proven experience as a dance tutor or instructor, with a strong background in various dance styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively and colleagues.
- Ability to create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage class schedules and events.
- Passion for dance and education, with a commitment to student development and success.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in dance or dance education are preferred.
