3 months contract with local authority

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Childcare Lawyer to join our team, working 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday. This role is crucial in providing legal expertise and advocacy in childcare cases, including representing clients in court proceedings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the best outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities:

Conduct advocacy in childcare cases, including contested final hearings.
Attend court at least twice per week to represent clients.
Provide expert legal advice and support in childcare matters.
Prepare legal documents and case files for court proceedings.
Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external agencies to achieve favorable outcomes.
