Summary
As a Senior Practitioner in the Social/NGO/Health & Care industry, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and families. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing care plans that meet the diverse needs of the community. This position is essential for ensuring that vulnerable children receive the necessary support and advocacy to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and families.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior staff and volunteers in delivering effective care services.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the needs and progress of children under care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of children and families within the community and with external agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the delivery of care services.


Requirements

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in social work, particularly in child care and support services.
  • Strong understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Relevant qualifications in social work or a related field.
