1 Month Contract with a Local Authority

Summary
  • This role is pivotal in leading the Connections Count practice model, ensuring its effective implementation, integration, and continuous development across the Trust. The post holder will design and deliver high-quality learning rooted in trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive, and relationship-based approaches. They will champion the model, strengthen reflective practice, and support staff in embedding its principles in everyday work with children, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing embedding of the Connections Count practice model across the Trust.
  • Act as the principal advocate for trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive, and relationship-based practice.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, reflection, and improved practice standards.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs aligned with the Connections Count principles.
  • Deliver bespoke learning sessions for teams or individuals based on identified needs and service demands.

Essential Experience Required
  • Experience designing and delivering training within children’s services, social care, education, or a related field.
  • Strong background in trauma-informed and relationship-based practice.
  • Experience leading practice improvement or supporting workforce development.
Essential Qualifications Required
  • Relevant professional qualification in social care, education, psychology, youth work, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
Additional Information
  • Working hours: 35 hours per week
  • Please note, we work on bi-weekly payments.
  • DBS required
